I retired thirteen years ago from IBM where I worked in sales and project management. I have been doing genealogical research for almost 40 years. Under the direction of my aunt, a genealogy instructor, I started with my direct ancestors. Over time that has expanded to include all descendants of several of my 2nd to 5th great-grandparents and back more than twelve generations for certain lines. That is how I ended up with 45,000 people in my largest family tree - lots of big families. I have done research for my family, my wife's family, friends’ families, and the Marine Corps. Some of these families are US based and have been here since colonial times. Others have had roots in Belgium, England, Sweden, Germany and various other places in Europe.
JPC Genealogy is a new company offering genealogical services at reasonable prices. Whether you are just starting out or have hit a brick wall I can help. My basic offering can provide you with up to five generations of direct ancestors for $260. This would be to an individual’s 2nd great-grandparents. This presumes that I start with just one individual and their parents. If more information is supplied more generations are possible. I can also work with pre-existing trees, and you can opt for hourly work to expand on those trees or do research on an individual or family group.
